Empowering Women. Enabling Independence. Transforming Communities.

About Mahila Atmanirbhar Abhiyan

Mahila Atmanirbhar Abhiyan (MAA) is a grassroots women’s empowerment initiative committed to building a society where women are informed, skilled, financially aware, economically independent, socially confident and empowered to shape their own future.

Led by Dr. Rina Routray, Chairperson, MAA works with a clear understanding that empowerment cannot remain confined to conferences, policies or awareness campaigns. It must reach the woman at the grassroots—the woman who needs information, opportunity, skills, financial knowledge, market access and a supportive ecosystem to transform her life.

MAA therefore follows an action-oriented, grassroots-to-growth approach, connecting awareness with opportunity and opportunity with sustainable empowerment.
