My name is Maggie. I'm actually Afrikaans speaking and that is therefore that I mostly do my video's  in my mother tongue language. I'm living in South Africa .
I retired from teaching at the end of 2016 , at the age of 61. I moved from the Western Cape  to the Eastern Cape a few years ago. So, now during that time I had to  figure out what I'm gonna do with my life. I started reading more books, doing wordbuilding, word search and also watching YouTube video's .
I also like going on hikes, exploring our city, visiting families and friends in other provinces. I also care for the sick and the elderly people.
So at the age of 70,  I started my very first  channel in September this year, 2025.
But my interest was in gardening and all happened from a compostpile, where I dumped all the kitchen waste. Potatoes and tomatoes were growing from that area.
So I extended a little space where I put seeds in Iike  beans, greenonions?, beetroot and carrots. 
I love nature and it's surroundings.
