MGSVGZ Mother Base

Welcome to the MGSV GZ Preservation Project.

This channel documents the preservation and restoration of the discontinued Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Companion App and its Mother Base experience.

The original app relied on online services that were eventually shut down, leaving much of its functionality inaccessible. This project is working to bring that lost functionality back by reverse-engineering the original Android application, reconstructing its server communications, and restoring features such as Mother Base management, soldiers, facilities, resources, missions, save synchronization and cassette/audio functionality.

The goal is simple: preserve the original software and keep this forgotten piece of Metal Gear Solid history playable.
