Dr. Marsha-Ann Scott-Black

Welcome! I am Marsha-Ann Scott-Black, PhD, Founder and Principal Researcher, MASB Research Consulting.

This channel is where faith, rigorous inquiry, and lived experience meet. I engage Scripture through Christ-centered, Black feminist, decolonial, and intersectional lenses, using research tools to ask deeper questions of the text and explore the depth, practicality, and relevance of God’s Word. This space is for those who engage Scripture faithfully and critically, and who see faith and intellectual inquiry as partners in the pursuit of truth.

Whether unpacking Scripture, reflecting on research, or engaging contemporary issues, the aim is to deepen understanding of God’s Word and its practical relevance. Scripture reflects real people navigating real life under the guidance of a real God, and its wisdom still speaks to us today.

Subscribe for biblical reflections, thoughtful inquiry, and practical engagement with Scripture.
