Lure of the Wild

Welcome to Lure of the Wild -- relatable wilderness adventure for the everyday angler.

I'm a Minnesota angler chasing wild places and unforgettable challenges -- from solo canoe trips in the BWCA to remote expeditions in the Amazon to the Arctic and beyond. These aren't how to videos. They're real adventures; the grind, the solitude, occasionally the wrong turns, and the fish that make it all worth it.

If you love the pull of wild water and the honesty of a quest where you might not succeed, you're in the right place.
