Longmuir Energy Project Information Centre

The Longmuir Energy Project Information Centre has been set-up to provide information on the development of an energy project by Galileo Empower to build 10 x 200m wind turbines, 55 x football pitch-sized areas of solar panelling, battery storage systems, access roads and a substation.
This area was determined to be unsuitable for wind turbines in May 2014. This new application is larger than the original proposal and will have an adverse effect on the surrounding area, local residents, noise pollution and environmental impact on the local bio-diversity and wildlife.
