Act Locally: NYC Civics Education for the People

This channel is a library of short videos explaining NYC government. Videos are designed and produced by students at Columbia University and Barnard College -- with other cities and schools to be added in the future. We explain everything from how to register to vote and find your polling place to how to navigate zoning changes and how to take your landlord to court for negligence.

This program is a supplement to a public civic education course I am conducting at Old Stone House in Brooklyn. and then other areas from Harlem to the LES to the Bronx: http://markaschneider.com/local-civics-education/
