I’m John Imler — professional dog trainer and head human at Top Dog Training Kentucky.

Dogs don’t live in training sessions. They live in our homes, routines, neighborhoods, and adventures. 

Acknowledging that, my work centers on four pillars:

Fit means understanding and meeting a dog’s physical and mental needs.
Structure creates clarity and boundaries.
Skills build reliability and emotional regulation.
Freedom is earned — the natural result of a dog who can navigate real life confidently.

Obedience skills matter. 
But partnership matters more.
