Living History: Stories from the Opening of China

Our documentary project is dedicated to the many people who came together after the PR China opened itself to Western countries in 1979. In the following years Chinese and foreign citizens traveled to each others' countries, met each other and built the China we know today. We aim to collect and preserve the stories of people-to-people diplomacy from these days for future generations.
