LiveFromTheNorth

The channel started with a camera originally used by my mother to watch the birdfeeders under her porch. When she passed away summer 2019, I (TigersDen) made it into a view of this place. It was an old re-purposed security camera. It's seen better days. We're now over on a 4K ReoLink camera.

Being at the edge of the world, weather and light is strange here.

In the summer you'll see Robert McCulloch in the midnight sun. The sun stays above the horizon for 24 hours a day from around mid May to mid July. In fall you'll see fabulous sunrises and the dark days before complete darkness.
December 3rd to 4th is the last full sunrise we have. The sun is above the horizon for 1 hour and 30 minutes ish.

Winter is dark, but full of surprises. And maybe the odd aurora borealis. Also known as: Northern Lights.
