Lit Liberation

Welcome to Lit Liberation ✨
Where stories teach skills.

Lit Liberation is a literacy-based social-emotional learning (SEL) platform dedicated to helping children build emotional awareness, coping strategies, and resilience through the power of books. Our work is grounded in SEL, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and trauma-informed practices—presented in ways that feel warm, safe, and developmentally meaningful for children ages 2–8.

On this channel, you’ll find:
📚 Guided read-alouds featuring books that support emotional and behavioral health
🧠 SEL + DBT skill lessons embedded into each story
💛 Resilience-building activities that kids can use at home or school
🎨 Play-based and creative regulation strategies
👩🏽‍🏫 Resources for educators, counselors, and families
