Line 43 Film

Line 43: Barriers Defined by Color is a groundbreaking new documentary film that exposes how 1930s redlining practices targeted Black neighborhoods and shaped Milwaukee — and cities across America — into some of the most segregated communities in the nation.

Through powerful interviews with experts, community leaders, and local activists, the film explores the nationwide impact of housing discrimination and how those same systemic barriers continue to shape communities today — while providing real solutions and forward-thinking ideas for rebuilding equity, opportunity, and trust in America’s divided cities.
