From 80s Bankrobbers Hideout to Jungle Cottage

✨ Hi, I’m Simone!
I'm transforming a 1980s bank robber house - and a jungle - into my cozy, fairytale cottage.

🏡 As a solo, first-time homeowner and geographer, I’m restoring this house into a space where creativity and sustainability meet, combining landscape awareness with eco-conscious design.

🛠️ Telling every projects story: renovating with reclaimed & healthy materials, building my furniture, upcycling vintage finds, and experimenting with textures and finishes.

🌿 The jungle garden as an extension of home — a retreat for humans and wildlife, with herbs, fruit trees, and hidden retreats.

🐾 Alongside my adopted family — Rudy, Berno & June — I share the journey of turning this homestead into my dream.

🌠Dreams: hosting creative events and becoming an interior designer - to fill more peoples hearts with joy.

💡 Expect DIY renovation, eco-friendly design, thrift flips, garden transformations, design experiments.
