Leicester Forest Photographic Society

We are Leicester Forest Photographic Society (LFPS), a photography club in Leicester in the East Midlands. This channel is to showcase some of the work members submit in club competitions as well as other club activities.

Formed in 1965, LFPS meet at the Braunstone Civic Centre on Thursday evenings during our season for a number of presentations, lectures and competitions. Our studio group meets monthly during the season on Monday evenings; using our sizeable inventory of studio equipment, the group exists to offer members who are interested in studio photography the opportunity to develop their technical and compositional skills and you may see some of their work in this slideshow.  We also run an number of member support evenings throughout the season to allow members to develop their skills.
