Lasserre de l'Ougal

Hello lovely subscribers!
We're Mark & Honey from Herefordshire. Four years ago, we decided our UK chapter was ending—we're taking our holiday let business, three dogs, and two cats to France's stunning Dordogne!
We're restoring a Medieval Manor in the hills of Les Eyzies, home to the famous Lascaux Caves. Having run a 14th-century Long House before, we're passionate about preserving historic charm: original stone walls, beamed ceilings, and timeless features.
The manor boasts beautiful period details, jaw-dropping valley views, with a large swimming pool overlooking hills. As wine lovers, we'll welcome guests with local hospitality, Périgord cuisine, and authentic experiences.
It's a work in progress! We'll share every restoration step—the challenges, discoveries, and transformations—while running it as a special holiday let.
