Lap Luxe Atelier

Lap Luxe Atelier is a channel about American gemstones: where they're dug, how they're cut, and what they're really worth.

If you're buying one piece that matters, an engagement ring, a milestone gift, something for yourself, you've probably been told the diamond is the safe choice and everything else is a gamble. So we went looking. Into the ground in Oregon and Montana, to the cutting wheel, and to the counter where the markup hides.

Three series, one rule: show the working.
◆ Discovery: one rough stone, followed all the way to the reveal.
◆ Craft: goldsmithing and commissions, shown at the bench.
◆ Buyer: the American stone to buy instead of the famous import, with the math.

No investment talk. No brand names on the box. Just where it came from, who cut it, and who got paid.

American ground. American hands.
