Welcome to the official YouTube channel of the La Verne Historical Society.

Founded in 1969 and incorporated in 1973, the LVHS is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history and culture of La Verne and its surrounding areas. Our mission is to collect, share, and protect the stories, landmarks and traditions that shaped our community.

Originally formed to preserve La Verne’s disappearing orange grove era, we continue this work today through educational programs, guided tours, lectures and community events.

Guided by our motto, “Preserving Old La Verne’s Environment: Making History for the Future,” this channel features historic photos, fascinating stories and memorable moments from La Verne’s past along with updates on upcoming events and activities.
