Lionel "L-Train" Ramos

Welcome to the L-Train Long-Distance Riding channel.

I’m Lionel “L-Train” Ramos, an experienced Iron Butt Association and long-distance motorcycle rider. This channel shares lessons learned from the road, seminars, ride preparation, route planning, fuel-stop efficiency, motorcycle setup, rider management, fatigue awareness, and practical strategies for endurance riding.

My approach is simple: PREPARE WELL • ROUTE SIMPLE • STOP SMART • PROTECT MARGIN • FINISH SAFELY

The goal isn’t simply to ride farther or faster. It’s to develop repeatable systems, control the variables you can, recognize when conditions change, and make decisions that get both you and the motorcycle safely to the finish.

Roads • Friends • Freedom
