LEND an Ear!: A Self-Advocacy Podcast

Welcome to the Brooklyn LEND an Ear Podcast! Your co-hosts are Kayla and Matt.

Kayla Williams is a Self-Advocate trainee in the Brooklyn LEND program. She is passionate about expanding her skills and sharing her story in order to support others with disabilities and help educate students and professionals.

Matt Brady is a music therapist and licensed creative arts therapist. He is a graduate of the Brooklyn LEND program and is currently on faculty of the LEND program as a clinical training supervisor.

LEND stands for Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental (and Related) Disabilities. There are LEND programs in each state throughout the country. The purpose of LEND is to provide interdisciplinary training, provide education to students and professionals, and promote innovative and collaborative practices in the field of neurodevelopmental disabilities across the lifespan. Brooklyn LEND is connected to SUNY Downstate.
