Ksenia Unru | Braids & Waves

👋 Hi, I’m Ksenia. I’ve taught more than 400 parents to braid their kids’ hair, most of them starting from “I can't even do a basic plait”.

I braid for a living in my studio, and I’ve been named in the Top 100 at the One Shot Hair Awards three years running.

The thing I care about most, though, is the parent at the kitchen bench at 7am trying to get a braid to hold.

This channel is where I show you how braiding actually works.

You’ll find Dutch braid tutorials, fishtail braids and buns, ponytails that survive the school day, the hair prep that makes everything last, and the little drills I use to train your hands on one section of hair before you try the full braid.
