Kirk J. Faulkner

I'm Kirk Faulkner. I like the conversations most people would rather avoid.

Addiction, ADHD and the end of life are my areas of interest. Recovery is messy, nonlinear and a lot more human than the pamphlets suggest. ADHD brains aren't broken; they just didn't get the right manual. And death is the one thing we all have in common, yet we're weirdly bad at talking about it. I'd like to help change that.

I work in behavioral health and I'm continuing my education at Point Loma Nazarene University. I also do improv, which turns out to be great training for therapy: listen closely, don't judge, and roll with whatever comes next.

If you're looking for someone who takes your story seriously without taking himself too seriously, hi, I'm Kirk.
