Kenzo started her career as a mental health nurse at the age of eighteen and later earned a PhD in Natural Medicine (CAM), with her research focusing on “The Effects of Shamanic Healing and Other Healing Practices on General Well-Being”. Kenzo has worked in the alternative field for over four decades in various roles including as a counsellor, psychotherapist, massage therapist, yoga teacher, minister and shaman; she began writing in 2014 and has published several books.

Kenzo’s shamanic apprenticeship, which began in 1996, lasted for twenty years and it is her vast and varied training and experience over the years that informed her work as a shaman and mystic. Her spirit name is BraveHeart.
