Kenneth Paul Tan's Unpolished Keys

Welcome to Unpolished Keys.

I share reflective piano interpretations of 80s and 90s classics, film themes, Broadway songs, and selected classical works, recorded live in Singapore and Hong Kong. These are spontaneous, imperfect performances shaped by memory and feeling rather than studio polish.

I am a Professor of Politics, Film, and Cultural Studies at Hong Kong Baptist University. This channel extends that work as an exploration of nostalgia, memory, and identity through music.

If these songs are part of your own story, subscribe and join me.
