Kathakology

Welcome to Kathakology — the creative world of Kinnari Modi. This channel showcases her original dance works, the behind-the-scenes process, dance tidbits, and the joyful chaos of making art. Rooted in kathak, Kathakology also blends in Kinnari’s friends: music, poetry, storytelling, design, and film.

As a dance school, Kathakology embraces the idea that one size doesn’t fit all. Every body is different — anatomically, emotionally, and culturally. Whether you’re a child discovering your dancer self, an adult reigniting a passion, a performer, or someone dancing just for fun, you’ll find a place here.

Classes in kathak and semi-classical Bollywood focus on technique, expression, and accessibility — through performance, storytelling, and structured training. This channel is for anyone who believes dance is more than steps — it’s a way of being.
