Karolin Somerset (aka Sophie Louisa Bennett)

Karolin Somerset is an entirely fictional alter ego, created very quickly, based on a character in From Russia with Love. Yes, I know that technically it's Karolin Somersiet, or Caroline Somersiet, but there we go... And, although we Bennetts have a blood line leading back to the West Country, it's NOT with Somerset. At least I think it's not. It's in fact that County where they put their Clotted Cream on the scones first followed by the jam on top. I was born in Lincoln - 'free at point of delivery' via the NHS - and, despite having tasted London life for over a decade, now live in Lincolnshire once more and have done for the past 20 years. I have thought to myself that Lincoln will be my home now until I go to my grave. 14 subscribers (Nov25)
