Michael KH6ML

ALOHA from Michael KH6ML — Ham Radio, Winlink, EmComm, POTA, ARES, RACES, and emergency communications from Hawaii.

I’m Michael Miller, amateur radio operator KH6ML, based in Kaneohe on Oahu. This channel focuses on practical ham radio skills, Winlink radio email, VARA FM, VARA HF, VHF/UHF, HF radio, packet radio, P2P Winlink, RMS gateways, ICS-213 forms, portable radio, Parks on the Air, Hawaii QSO Party, and disaster communications.

My goal is to help new hams, experienced operators, and emergency communication volunteers learn how radio can work when internet, phones, power, or cloud systems fail.

You’ll find radio setup tutorials, equipment tests, field operations, POTA contact mapping, Winlink gateway setup, and lessons from real communications exercises in Hawaii and beyond.

Hope to hear you on the air.
