I've loved city building games since I first played SimCity2000 back in the day and I played 3000 and 4 as well. I first got into using mods and custom assets when I played SimCity4. I was really excited when I heard about the 2013 reboot, but never got around to getting it because I was already completely immersed in Minecraft. I didn't start playing Cities Skylines until about a year ago. I tend to get really focused on one particular game at a time. For years it was Minecraft, but I've also gotten deep into Madden NFL franchise mode a few times - first with 2000, then later with 2008, and more recently with 2017. My day job is teaching art to kids and I also make art and music. I played in bands for many years and have produced several albums. I use my own music in my videos. During covid I made some art instructional videos for my students and learned a bit about editing and started experimenting with making videos,. Now I'm diving in and making regular content.
