Jefferson County TRUE Podcast

The Jefferson County Youth Advisory Board created a podcast to help young people better understand the youth justice system and feel less alone.

Hear youth interview police officers, attorneys, judges, case managers, school staff and others you may meet along the way. Youth with lived experience also share their own perspectives on what the process can really feel like.

Everyone’s experience is different, and some episodes discuss mental health and justice system involvement. If something feels overwhelming, take a break or talk with someone you trust.

This Is Not the End of Your Story!

What matters is learning from what happened, making positive choices and continuing to move forward.
