Jason & The Jimny

One of my first cars as a kid was a 1986 Suzuki Samurai Tin Top. I loved that car and don't recall the reason why I got rid of it. Years later, I ended up with a second Samurai Soft Top, and because I grew up in Western NY, it was full of rust and not in the best shape, but I still loved it and drove it every day to work. I eventually got rear ended and it was totaled by the insurance company, and I still regret letting them take it as the only real damage was to the rear bumper.

Fast forward 20+ years...I have always kept my eye out for Samurai's in good shape but never pulled the trigger on one. On March 16th, 2025, I decided to bid on a 1997 Suzuki Jiimny that was for sale with No Reserve on Bring a Trailer, and I won!!

I'm creating this channel in hopes to document my experience in owning, daily driving, and maintaining my Jimny. While there are a few other channels out there with great Jimny content, there just aren't enough and it felt like there was room for 1 more.
