Jailvis Presley

Singer/ Songwriter John T, aka Jaivis Presley, has been writing and playing music for over 30 years. Born in Tulsa, OK, a man at ORU had to have a million $ or God meant to keel him: Jailvis' Dad worked there, so the family of 9 moved to Monroe, LA where John picked up his first guitar at 10. Thanks to the influence of 4 very different older brothers, his music comes in many different flavors. John began playing live music on the local scene when he was still in high school. Clovis Pillgreen was one of his first bands that gained quite a following. Thanks to John’s catchy riffs and undeniable way with words, the band recorded 2 albums. He followed with another band called Truckstop Gravy and then Dressed Up Naked before taking a break (jail) from the music scene. He never stopped writing. Over time, an array of different experiences and "CHOW!" Lines, Jaikvis' music started becoming a soundtrack to his life. Today is the 1st day he is going to share it with the world. Hope you enjoy!
