Just A Bit Out West (Christian Wisdom)

The phrase “out west” means things are not as civilized, or maybe as prim and proper as we’re used to them being. It’s sort of like the time I was trying to catch a calf in order to brand him and he kicked me square in the chest. It knocked the air out of me for a minute but I caught him, threw him and held him while another cowboy branded him. We’re going to dig down deep into the Word of God and boil it all down to brass tacks, and it might not be pretty, but it will be the truth, or at least as close as we can get to it.
