Italian Stories with Sofia

Italian Stories with Sofia is an ordered Italian comprehensible-input story series for absolute beginners (A1). Start at Episode 1 and follow the path in order.

Each episode introduces a few new Italian words, repeats vocabulary from earlier stories, and slowly helps you understand more Italian through context, visuals, songs, and subtitles — no translation, no grammar drills, no word lists. You understand Italian before you translate it.

Not a random collection of A1 clips: the episodes build gradually, so later stories grow from words you've already met. Slow Italian listening practice with repeated vocabulary, in order.

Follow Sofia (a medical student in Dozza), Nonna Elena, her brother Marco, and Beppe through slow, everyday Italian. Stories start at A1 and grow toward B2. Many episodes include a companion song built from the same vocabulary.
