Irvine Pen Supply

Irvine Pen Supply is the exclusive North American agent for Master Xu Guoqin (徐國琴).

As the third-generation inheritor of the esteemed Wang Bu (王步), the legendary Master of Blue and White porcelain, Master Xu creates museum-quality pieces that seamlessly blend centuries-old Qinghua brushwork with universal human connection. Her art utilizes symbols that transcend cultural and geographic boundaries, resonating across backgrounds through the mastery of Underglaze Color (釉下彩) and Blue and White (青花) porcelain.
In underglaze color craftsmanship, intricate designs are hand-painted onto the porcelain before a protective layer of glaze is applied and fired at high temperatures. The result is an indelible finish that resists wear, maintaining its original vibrancy indefinitely. Distinctive and understated, each piece serves as a quiet focal point in any setting.
