Innovation Skaters

Skateboarding after 50: how to start, stay safe and keep rolling.

"You don't stop skating because you're too old. You get old because you stopped skating." (my skater friend Tirone)

I started skateboarding from scratch at 50. At 54, I skate for balance, reaction speed, circulation and pure fun, not for reckless tricks.

A skateboard isn't a child's toy. With patience, it's a brilliant way to train balance, coordination and reaction time, and the perfect antidote to a left-brain work week.

Here you'll find:
- Learning to skate as an adult, safely and without ego
- Closing the reaction-time gap: training your brain and stabilizer muscles to keep up with the board
- Caring for your body from the inside out: hydration, warm food and rest
- My simple supplement routine (D3, K2 and magnesium). Not medical advice.

Whether you're 50+ and want proof it's not too late, or 25 to 45 and building a stronger body for later, you're in the right place.

See you on the concrete.
