I Tend the Light

I Tend the Light is the creative outlet of Sheffield-based multi-instrumentalist Winslow Wake. Weaving a bleak tapestry of doom, sludge, and post-metal, Wake’s sound is a collision of crushing heaviness and delicate introspection. 

Wake builds expansive soundscapes fueled by synth textures and cinematic dialogue to create a sound that is both massive and intensely personal; a specific kind of cinematic desolation. It is music born of curiosity and chaos, driven by a simple experimental ethos: press the button, lean into the noise, and see what happens.
