International Bear Association (IBA)

This is the YouTube channel of the International Association for Bear Research and Management, or IBA (International Bear Association). We are a non-profit organization open to professional biologists, wildlife managers, and others dedicated to the conservation of bears. Our mission is to advance scientific understanding and global conservation of the world’s 8 bear species. With our ~500 members from over 45 countries, we accomplish this by facilitating science-based conservation through member grants, scientific publications, and conferences.
