Croatian Association of Saint Benedict

The Croatian Association of Saint Benedict brings together lay believers who, through cultural and socially engaged activities, promote fundamental Christian and universal social values and advocate for the preservation of Croatian identity as well as European cultural heritage. The Association finds its inspiration for cultural engagement in the figure of Saint Benedict of Nursia, the patron saint of Europe, who laid the foundations of future European culture.

In pursuit of its mission, the Association carries out activities that promote national and cultural identity in the fields of artistic, scientific, and spiritual creativity, the economy, and public life. It studies and preserves Croatian heritage, promotes innovation, creative and scientific achievements, human rights, and a culture of life. It organizes public forums and seminars, musical and theatrical events, literary and poetry evenings, academic conferences, humanitarian actions, pilgrimages, and excursions.
