Houstory®

Why is renting the only major life decision we make with almost zero data? You take the tour, see the stainless steel appliances, and listen to the sales pitch. But the moment you hand over your security deposit, you’re stepping into a blind spot. You have no verified record of the actual living experience. You don't know if the landlord ignores emergency repairs, if the "quiet" street is a construction zone, or if the unit has a hidden history of health hazards.

We’re turning the lights on.

Houstory is a civic tech platform built to eliminate the Zero Data Decision for urban renters. We consolidate essential, hidden data into a complete picture, providing:

Verified Unit History: Real insights from previous tenants who lived there before you.

Landlord Responsiveness: Data-driven scores on who actually shows up when the heat goes out.

Litigation & Environmental Tracking: Public data made accessible—not hidden behind complex portals or paywalls.
