Hot Mix Entertainment Chicago Wedding DJ

Welcome to Hot Mix Entertainment!

I’m Scott “Smokin’” Silz, owner of Hot Mix Entertainment and an original member of Chicago’s legendary Hot Mix 5. For over 40 years, I’ve entertained crowds everywhere from major clubs to more than 750 weddings and thousands of events throughout Chicagoland.

This channel showcases real weddings, packed dance floors, live mixing, event highlights, DJ tips, and behind-the-scenes moments that inspire unforgettable celebrations.

Every event is personally DJ’d by Scott—no associate DJs, no cookie-cutter playlists. Every celebration is planned with care and mixed live to create the perfect soundtrack for your guests.

If you’re looking for a DJ who reads the room, keeps the dance floor full, and creates lasting memories, you’re in the right place.

Creating Unforgettable Celebrations Throughout Chicagoland.
