History Untapped Orchestra

Hi, I’m Danny, and this channel explores history and storytelling through original music.

Much of the music is historically focused, drawing inspiration from the culture, everyday life and musical traditions of the Victorian and Edwardian eras through to the early twentieth century and the 1920s. Some songs tell stories based on real people, events and experiences, while others explore fictional tales, darker stories and horror.

I also create music inspired by styles now rarely heard, including Edwardian parlour music, Music Hall songs and other popular traditions from earlier generations.

My aim is to make the past more accessible through music, whether by telling a historical story, recreating the atmosphere of another era or bringing an original story to life through music.
