In this trench, we don't fool ourselves: only through error do we reach certainty.
The channel stands on two non-negotiable pillars: cynical humor and serious rigor.

Humor and blunders: cinema is often made of cardboard. We expose wristwatches in Ben-Hur and sneakers in Troy. We add grotesque traditions, like turkeys dressed as knights or medieval ugliness contests. Laughing at human bungling is the only dignified way out.
Serious topics: We analyze the social context and the most representative issues, such as naked truth, power, hunger, and vanity—the forces that have pulled the strings of the world since man has been man.
