Highland Hardy

I've lived in the Scottish Highlands for over 30 years, which means I've survived the weather, the wildlife, the maintenance and several questionable smallholding decisions.

I live in a 200-year-old croft house on a one-acre smallholding with ducks, geese and whatever else decides to turn up.

Come along as we explore Scottish Highland life. There'll be walks, wildlife, old buildings, country life, property tours, projects and the discoveries that make life in the Highlands so unique.

After more than 30 years here, I've learned one thing...

You have to be Hardy to live here.

Welcome to my life in the Highlands.
