Highland Anthem

Welcome to Highland Anthem.

I’m Ewen, and every song begins with a story.

Inspired by the history, legends, landscapes and people of the Highlands, Highland Anthem brings Scotland to life through original music and cinematic storytelling.

From true Highland history and forgotten wartime heroes to the mysteries of Loch Ness, mythical creatures and original fictional adventures, every song is inspired by Scotland’s rich heritage, folklore and, quite often, the wonderful imagination of my two young daughters.

Whether the story is true, legendary or entirely imagined, each one is written to celebrate the beauty, mystery and spirit of the Highlands.

This is only the beginning. In the months ahead, I’ll also be sharing the stories, history and inspiration behind the music from a very special place in the Highlands.

Whether you come for the history, the legends, the mysteries or the music, pull up a chair… you’re always welcome here.
