Hawkshead Grammar School Museum

"A Grammar School Education; Wordsworth's Inspiration". Hawkshead Grammar School Museum & Library is a time capsule of education from 1585 to 1909. 

We are a small museum in Hawkshead, Cumbria, best known for being attended by Romantic Poet, William Wordsworth. 
We are constantly carrying out research into former students & teachers to help us build a picture of the school community in Hawkshead over time.
