Harrison Flynn

Hailing from small town Martinez in Northern California, Harrison picked up the guitar at the age of 12. It wasn't long before he began getting his hands on records from blues legends: Muddy Waters, B.B King, and Robert Johnson. At the same a healthy dose of rock and roll bands such as The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin as well as jam based groups like The Grateful Dead steered him on a dedicated artistic path. At the age of 21, he moved to Los Angeles and began immersing himself in the Laurel Canyon scene. Melding all his influences together, Harrison has found a unique sound that resonates with his energy and his spirit. There are hints of jazz, psychedelia, country, surf, western and world music that have folded into his blues and rock based leanings. Harrison and his band (Mars Horner on bass, Jared Cvetich on drums) formed last year and have been playing shows throughout California. They are currently recording a record with bassist/producer John Avila (Oingo Boingo)
