HOB Israel - The Association of British Immigrants

HOB. (Hitachdut Olei Britannia - The Association of British Immigrants) is a non-political, volunteer, non-profit organisation which aims to help new and established immigrants to Israel, especially English speaking olim, in furthering their integration by providing social, educational and cultural activities at branches throughout the country, as well as at national events.
Among a range of interesting activities, we offer:
• social and cultural programmes around the country
• branches in Rehovot, Netanya, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem
• group activities: monthly breakfasts in a café in Tel Aviv; beer and wine tasting evenings; music evenings; lectures; quizzes and barbeques; Yom Ha’atzmaut tiyulim; white elephant evenings and many others
• weekends away, including the annual Convention/AGM
• an electronic newsletter and group email notices
• encourage everyone to join their local branch, as well as attending meetings in other areas. Non members are also welcome to attend any meetings.
