HERI Research Chair in Mathematics Education

Welcome to the official YouTube channel of the HERI Africa Research Chair in Mathematics Education at the University of Embu, Kenya, in partnership with HERI Africa, a Pan-African initiative dedicated to harnessing education research for impact across the continent.
We are a research and capacity-building initiative working to improve mathematics learning outcomes across Kenya and Africa. Our channel features research seminars, workshop highlights, policy dialogues, and practitioner resources focused on foundational numeracy.
Did you know? About 4 in 10 Grade 6 learners in Kenya cannot solve a numeracy problem at the Grade 3 level. We are working to change that, through evidence, innovation, and collaboration.
