HΛV

HΛV is a Nordic flute and guitar duo, which consists of the Finnish-Sámi flutist Marianne Sihvonen and the Faroese guitarist Alvi Joensen. They are an ambitious and forward-looking duo, based in Øresund region, that has established itself as a distinctive voice in Nordic music through its commitment to new music and sustainable themes. Through close and continuous collaboration with composers, they focus on creating music that explores and reflects on environmental issues and global challenges, with the intention of evoking new perspectives on the relationship between humans, nature, and sound.
