Greenland Central School Robotics 

We are Greenland Central School (GCS) Robotics Team, located in the town of Greenland, NH. (No, not the country) The team was started in 2020 by Mr. Randy Weld, a STEM teacher at GCS.  His goal was to bring the First Robotics Program to the school. This program is to provided opportunities to learn and practice mechanical, programming, marketing, communication and business skills.  In 2023, there was an increase in student interest so the Robotics Team expanded to have two Teams to compete in the First Tech Challenge (FTC).  The two teams are named as Hilda the Builda and Tobor the Viking.  
Our Middle school team competes against other middle schools and high school teams in the state. We have accomplished so many things since the start of our team including placing 7th in the state 2 years ago, placing 12th and 8th last year, and winning multiple awards. One of our biggest accomplishments are making it to the premier event!
