Grand Orient of Switzerland

The Grand Orient of Switzerland (GOS) is a Masonic obedience founded on June 24, 1959. Signatory of the Strasbourg appeal and defender of human rights, it is part of the liberal and adogmatic current of European Freemasonry. . The GOS represents, coordinates, brings together and informs the Masonic Lodges that compose it. The latter practice different rites within it. The GOS leaves to its Lodges and consequently to its members a total freedom of conscience. It welcomes all men, whatever their origin, their religion, their social situation, their philosophical and political ideals, as long as they are compatible with the spirit of Freemasonry, honor and Swiss laws.
